We honestly were feeling lost.
We needed something to believe that everything would be okay at some point.
And suddenly there was a good idea: telling quarantine stories of those who have found a way to deal with these days in a positive way.
Tell stories of those who have took easy their lives to meet the simplest things, those we take for granted: that morning coffee with a nice sunlight coming through a window, more time to spend with the furry friends we care for, more time with those we love, more time in that house that we have built to make it more than comfortable, to make it a refuge, a place to go when the day is over.
And to our happiness we had a great response from many of our clients, our amazing old clients who understood what this was all about: telling their own version of the quarantine.
Juanita, Sergio, Zoe and Jack are enduring the quarantine as a family. These are the words of Juanita and the reasons that moved them to say yes to our proposal:
“A few days ago, Loop asked us how we were handling the quarantine and told us about their sessions at home. As soon as they told us, we decided to trust them and their idea. We wanted to have a memory of our days at home with our little family and especially remember that although this is a difficult situation, the most important thing is to have each other.”
It happens sometimes that your work becomes a therapy, a way to deal with problems, your faith, your refuge. Thank you guys, we had the best time with the four of you, hopefully you got to feel our smiles behind our masks.
